Caramelised Plums


  • 55g brown sugar
  • 1 little water
  • 2 vanilla pod
  • 55g butter
  • 6 plums stoned and halved
  • Double or ice cream


  1. Place the plums into pan pour over a little water about 2cms
  2. Sprinkle over the sugar, butter and vanilla pods.
  3. Heat until the plums are beginning to break up and the sauce is turning thick and golden.
  4. Serve the caramelised plums with cream or ice cream.
